Who are we

Utlandssvenskar.com is a web community for Swedish expats and Swedes who spend a lot of time out of Sweden. Anyone is welcome to become a member though and the membership is free. Our objective is to make life easier for Swedish expats by providing for example Swedish news, information from the Foreign Office, special member discounts, links to online stores offering Swedish products and networking possibilities.

The members of the site also contribute by posting travel information and information about local groups and events etc.

Networking is made easier by the search function that allows you to search for members by name, country or city.

Every day we get new members to our site. The membership is free. The members receive one newsletter a month, discounts in various online shops and also discounts from other companies who want to reach out to Swedes living abroad. It could be banks, brokers, companies that sell Swedish food and films etc.

At the moment our members enjoy discounts from car rental companies, online CD store, Swedish newspapers etc. Since this is a community for Swedish people living abroad or travel a lot, it doesn’t have to be Swedish products from Sweden. Any kind of member discount that we believe could be useful for our members is accepted, no matter product or location.

We want to give our members as many benefits as possible and we are always looking for new partnership possibilities.
